Music makes the game, in my opinion. I remember back when I had an NES, I used to plug it in through the stereo and make cassette recordings of different games for the music(for the younger folks, a cassette is what we used to record music before we had computers and CD burners).
Well, things have come a long way since then. We have emulators that can play music from arcade ROMS, high-quality recordings from home console games, and a whole new community of people who remix videogame music.
