Yeah, everybody loves the prototypes. They are always one of the draws to bring people to the show. Let's be honest here, though. Think about it. WHY were these games only prototypes? Yeah, that's right. Usually, it's because the games weren't ready for prime time.

For example, this year marked the debut of Accelerator. It looked fun, and if I had gotten into it more, I might have enjoyed it more, but it didn't have that immediate wow factor after playing it a couple times.

But on the other side of the coin, Marble Madness II: Marble Man deserved to be released to the general public. It was a little odd playing with joysticks, but the game was genuinely fun. Fishin' Frenzy was fun, too.
