Miscellaneous arcade shots. Take a look around. I didn't take as many shots as I would have liked, though. I realized that my current camera, well, sucks. Basically, it works when it feels like it. There are some shots that I didn't even upload. I learned that even though a shot might look good on the preview screen, it doesn't necessarily mean it came out clear :(

Of interesting note was The Irritating Maze (an example of one of the bad pictures). There's one part of the game that MAME doesn't emulate. I looked around the web and couldn't find this anywhere. Look at the two silver columns with the air holes on each side. It's been noted that a blast of air shoots out whenever you touch a side rail and lose a life. Well, it's not just a blast of air. It's a blast of air with a very strong electric smell, sort of like the smell of burning metal combined with a large wire that just shorted out. Which, if you're paying attention to the game, is what actually happens in the game, you short out. And when I say strong, I mean strong; you're overwhelmed by the end of the game. Kinda neat, though.

Another cool one was Turkey Shoot. Assuming it's there again next year, I'll take a close-up picture. In the real game, everytime you clear a round, "the turkey explodes." Inside the machine is a bunch of feathers which fly around after you complete a level.

Finally, Six Gun Select was awesome. Think of it as an updated version of Wild Gunman. You're weapon of choice is a six shooter in a holster, and you face different outlaws in the Old West. You CANNOT draw you pistol before the outlaw does, otherwise the "host" of the game comes out and scolds you. There are three levels of difficulty: Deputy, Sheriff, and Marshall. Each difficulty has two stages of seven levels each, with different scenes of outlaws, both male and female. Some scenes have you facing two or three gunmen, and you have to shoot whoever draws first. It's very challenging as each scene is ever so slightly different each time in regards to exactly when the outlaw draws. Also the scenes with multiple outlaws can be different as to who draws first. The fastest time I had on one scene was 0.23 seconds. Not bad.
