WIP:
  • 0.122u5: Corrado Tomaselli verified/corrected frequencies on Pipi & Bibis PCB. Changed description to 'Pipi & Bibis / Whoopee!! (Z80 sound cpu)'.
  • 0.37b12: Added 'Nudity' dipswitch.
  • 0.37b6: Re-Added clone 'Pipi & Bibis / Whoopee!! (Japan) (bootleg ?)'. Changed Z80 CPU2 and YM3812 clock speed to 3375000 Hz.
  • 0.36RC2: Moved clone 'Pipi & Bibis / Whoopee (Japan) [bootleg ?]' to (Testdriver).
  • 0.36RC1: Quench added 'Pipi & Bibis / Whoopee (Japan)' (Toaplan 1991) and clones 'Pipi & Bibis / Whoopee (Japan) [bootleg ?]' and 'Whoopee (Japan) / Pipi & Bibis (World)'. Issues: Missing sound MCU dump in Whoopee. Using bootleg sound CPU dump for now. Pipi & Bibis (bootleg ?) is not working. 68K CPU ROMs are encoded? Whoopee/Teki Paki sometimes tests bit 5 of the territory port just after testing for vblank. Why ? Whoppee is currently using the sound CPU ROM (Z80) from a differnt (pirate ?) version of Pipi and Bibis (Ryouta Kikaku copyright). It really has a HD647180 CPU, and its internal ROM needs to be dumped.Pipi and Bibis (Ryouta Kikaku copyright) Romset not supported yet. CPU roms are encoded, and decoding needs to be worked out.
  • 12th January 2000: Quench sent a driver for some later Toaplan games such as Teki Paki, Ghox, Dogyuun, Knuckle Bash, Pipi & Bibis / Whoopee!! and Snow Bros 2.
