0.34b7 [Alex Pasadyn, Zsolt Vasvari, Kurt Mahan]
Bugs:
- Terminator 2 freezes while playing the movies after destroying skynet. Currently we have a hack in which prevents the freeze, but we really should eventually figure it out for real. Source (ID 02360)
- Side-by-side pcb test: Movie sequences: The Cyberdyne Systems sign displays correctly on the pcb. Also in the previous sequence with the 3 cut scenes the center scene (motorcycle & frieghtliner grill) is definately reversed, I couldn't notice if the other 2 were. I'm going to have to install a pause switch on my board :) missing light effects/explosion artwork: The mirror that reflects the screen to you has explosions on the back. 1 on the left and 1 on the right. When you take damage it lights up a bulb behind the mirror and you see a translucent red and white explosion over the screen. The outputs aren't in the driver to run it though. I guess I can't scan it but I might be able to backlight it and photograph it sometime (if anyone is willing to work on the driver changes). Note: If anyone is interested in adding this, please contact Dave. Contact info his on his site: http://www.widel.com/. PCB term2056ora dwidel (ID 01024)
- Flipped screen in test mode is broken. Text overlaps, might be related to term20103u4gre. Follow-up from RansAckeR (0.122u5): This was presumed fixed the first time in 0.114u2 by Aaron. He could not reproduce it back then. Steps to reproduce it (on my system): -delete nvram (optional), -fire it up, -press F2, -go straight to dip switch test, press tab and go to dipswitches and -change the normal view dipswitch to 'on'. At that point the mirroring is incorrect. After a reboot it looks fine until you change it again to 'off'. Perhaps it expects you to switch it while the cab is not running? Follow-up by Aaron: There are very, very few (if any) games that really work if you toggle the flip-screen switch while the game is running. They are not designed to be toggled like that. At this point, I would need proof that the real PCB worked when changed on the fly like this to really consider it worth pursuing any further. term20104u2gre Luigi30 / RansAckeR / Aaron Giles (ID 01159)
