Bugs:
  • The background in the ending isn't emulated correctly. There are some black squares over there (it should be a photo). Kale (ID 01144)
WIP:
  • 0.65: Changed Z80 CPU1 clock speed to 6MHz and the 2x Z80 CPUs to 4MHz.
  • 1st February 2003: Acho A. Tang fixed sound effects and some glitches in Avengers.
  • 0.37b16: Phil Stroffolino added partial protection simulation in Avengers.
  • 4th June 2001: Phil Stroffolino added sound to Avengers, while not perfect, it should at least play the correct sounds.
  • 5th June 2001: Guru - Received an Avengers PCB from Phil Stroffolino (a few days ago) which I've used to help him fix the game in MAME.
  • 3rd June 2001: Phil Stroffolino added protection support to Avengers, so it is now playable.
  • 0.37b8: Added clone Hissatsu Buraiken (Japan). Fixed gfx1 rom ($0) and added proms ($0, 100 - timing/priority). Game not working yet.
  • 0.37b7: Added 3rd Z80 (3579545 Hz) CPU3 and replaced ADPCM sound with MSM5205 (384000 Hz).
  • 0.37b6: Added prom ($0 - priority).
  • 22nd January 2000: Phil Stroffolino added a hack to display the background in Avengers.
  • 0.36b14: Phil Stroffolino improved Capcom Avengers, the wrong colors are caused by the protection. Added dipswitches 'Allow Continue', 'Demo Sounds', 'Difficulty', 'Bonus', 'Lives', 'Service Mode', 'Flip Screen', 'Coin A/B'.
  • 9th January 2000: Phil Stroffolino fixed some bad sprites in Avengers.
  • 8th January 2000: Phil Stroffolino sent in a preliminary Avengers driver with bad graphics and bad sound, but the game is working.
  • 0.34b1: Paul Leaman added Avengers (set 1) (Capcom 1987) and clone (set 2) (not working due to protection).
