Fill in fields and click "generate lay file" to generate layout
Copy and paste generated layout text into a file called setname.lay (when setname is the name of the ROM set)
You cannot generate a lay file until fields are completed
As you fill in the details, you can see a preview on the right
Aspect ratio can be specified as horizontal or vertical. Typically you will use 4:3 or 3:4.
When you have filled in bezel and screen dimensions, the form will generate screen offset values to center the screen. Adjust these values as needed.
I found the screen offset values more intuitive to use than the four corner coordinates - others may disagree =)
You can use a URL in the file name field (e.g. a local file:// address or a remote host that allows image linking). If you are using a hires bezel, your browser might get a bit slow...
The bezel window specifies the clear area and the maximum screen size.
The border is the specified percentage of the screen around all around (e.g. 2% border means 4% shrinkage).
