Since Namco System11 and System12 emulation is now a reality (thanks to Zinc), many people are interested to know the status of System11/12 and possibly System10 dumps. So here's a listing with all the info I know so far.

Please note the following.....

  • These late model Namco boards are extremely complex to emulate and very time consuming to dump, so please be patient with us (us=devs and dumpers ;-)

Partially Dumped. Needs to be redumped because some ROMs are badly dumped or some other info or adapter is required to continue or we need to buy or loan the PCB or ROMs again.

General Comments: Preliminary emulation has begun, but nothing works yet.
It appears the ROMs on these boards have additional info in them. The additional mode isn't supported by any EPROM reader that I know of. I've requested support be added from the manufacturer. Until such time, there's no point reading any of the ROMs on these PCBs.

The main program is dumped, has been decrypted and is partially running (nothing showing on screen yet due to some communication issues)
The devices used to store the graphics data are unknown so for now they remain undumped. Out of all the System10 games, it seems like this game is the only one using these strange MASK ROMs.

General Comments: All dumped and emulated by MAME and Zinc except for the ones listed as ND. Version numbers are quoted for reference in case someone finds a different revision. The version is on a small sticker under the board, and also listed in test mode. Be sure to check the version in the test menu though, as many were upgraded at the factory to newer revisions but the sticker still shows the older revision.
