122u7

January 25th, 2008 by James

Well, the various callback changes have finally persuaded me to stop maintaining a separate copy of the whole Scorpion 2 driver, so I’ll start pushing things about to make it match MPU4 a bit better. Speaking of which, I could really do with amending that wire-OR in the driver at present, since the 6809 PTM IRQ line connects into the same trace. Watch this space, I haven’t gone near that timer code in a while, and there’s probably a few things I’d like to clean up while I’m there.

122u6

Little bit of Maygay related coding, but this is a release mostly including compilation fixes.

Just a friendly note to those having trouble with artwork on Dr Who, try running in a window, as that seems to make a difference. Something somewhere doesn’t initialise correctly, although I’m looking to troubleshoot that at present.

u4 patch released

January 7th, 2008 by James

This is far smaller than MAME’s one, so you shouldn’t have trouble with it. If people experience problems with playing some of the ’simulated’ video layouts, please let me know, preferably stating what graphics card you’re using, as I’m trying to work out what’s causing the drawing problems in Dr. Who.

u3 patch released

January 4th, 2008 by James

You may have noticed that I didn’t put the u2 patch up at the time I made reference to it, for dull technical reasons (my PC wouldn’t upload it). Now, there are two to apply to get up to speed, which improve the documentation quality of the drivers.
