Tiburoned and Pembo have released a layout for Sidewinder that adds proper lamping and details to the Sidewinder video fruit machine. There are still some lamps unidentified, but it does show the machine off a little better. This also shows the power of the ALE editor, which is linked to on the navigation bar.

I decided to release it as is, rather than wait any longer.
If anyone has any more information on Scorpion 1 and 2 DIP switch settings, please let me know, as I don’t think the current values are correct.

As I won’t be doing anything by way of updates during the festive period, I’m trying to get everything I want to included ready for the 122 release. As a result, source and binary release is indefinitely postponed.

Available from the usual page, just a few little cleanups which should remove some of the out and out lies that the UI has been telling about the games.

Just a few quick fixes, nothing too special. Remember to look for the files under ‘Source Updates’.

There’s some support for Spotlight, an old Maygay M1 title, in this one. However, this is mainly to test a few new component drivers.
This also will probably mark the end of the WordPress based download engine, since the script Twisty wrote for MAMEDev urinates on our current one from a great height.
EDIT: Those who can spot a makefile.rej in their folder after patching may need to either reverse the patch by using -R and redownloading from the site, or if you have a makefile.orig, renaming that to makefile and deleting makefile.rej - the original version of this patch tried to repatch the MAME makefile.

Seeing as my current version of AGEMAME is broken because of some new drivers I’m working on, and there’s no changes in the latest baseline patch that affect it, I’m giving u1 a miss.

I’m soft launching a new look to the site which looks a little brighter. I know there are still some issues with the appearance of the sidebar, but I can’t quite see what’s causing the problem as yet.
If you’re wondering, the idea is that by putting the navigation on the left, the Source Browser should start to handle long lines more effectively.
EDIT: I ‘m aware that there are still faults on some pages, most of these are going to be rewritten for content, and updated then.
