Although the movement of the default layouts doesn’t affect us (I think) - I’ve included the ones AGEMAME is most likely to use in the update.
The 6840 changes also help with MPU4, but there are still some significant issues with the RAM and ROM mapping, which are stopping the games from running correctly.

Quick turnaround for this one, hopefully the DDraw stuff will help solve some problems I’ve been reading about.
Patches now avaialble.

Although this doesn’t contain the 6840 changes, as compensation I have included the new AWPVid engine - the specifications sheet is available on the AWP Simulator Layouts page.

Unfortunately, the server appears to have been claiming to pass messages on, and then not doing so, so if I’ve apparently ignored your message, I apologise, but I didn’t get it.
In other news, the on-off 6840 rewrite that I’ve been doing is now as complete as I can get it (continuous timing only, which is enough for what everyine needs at present).
When we get a new MAME patch, it should be in there, and I should be able to have some fun with the more pedantic non-working games.

For some reason, the contact form logic has stopped working, so goodness knows how many messages have been lost as a result.
If anyone reading this wants to contact me, use the PM feature on www.mameworld.info until I can find a solution.

More video rewriting work, this time some of it will help out on the AGEMAME side of things, if I can work out the details of it correctly.

A hasty update to 0.106u4, so that the Card Line fixes can be added in, amongst other things.
On another note, the reel support for the new rendering system is done now, with the lamps to follow at some point in the future (preferably after some enterprising person makes a .lay editor ;))

I think that things are more stable now, so the option to move back to the old render unit has gone, and we’re back in line with MAME policy.
If anyone has any issues with the drivers, please let me know on the forum, because my PC doesn’t seem to like MAME’s use of Direct3D at present.
